Dr. Virusky has been working locally since 1999, initially working in the Kingstowne area before opening Fairfax Station Chiropractic in 2002. He is focused on making sure each patient receives an individual treatment plan, with the goal of having each patient feeling better as quickly as possible. In addition to stopping pain it is also part of the plan to teach patients how to take care of themselves in the future to prevent re-injury.
Being from a military family, Dr. Virusky spent his childhood in various parts of the world. He attended Hayfield Secondary School and is a graduate from Virginia Tech. Following completion of his degree in biology from Virginia Tech, Dr. Virusky studied at New York Chiropractic College, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with his doctorate in Chiropractic degree.
Dr. Virusky uses “hands on” manual therapy, primarily Spinal Manipulative Therapy (SMT), in combination with soft tissue techniques, like trigger point therapy. He also offers guidance on stretching and exercise to address, not only the function of the joints, but also the muscles supporting the spine and joints.
He is a member of the South County Chamber of Commerce, the American Chiropractic Association, and the Virginia Chiropractic Association, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Virginia Chiropractic Association.

Meet the Team
Lorraine Chedeville, CMT
Lorraine’s been with us since 2009, and she’s been a Certified Massage Therapist since 2005 after graduating from The Greater Washington Institute of Massage. She is a proud member of the American Massage Therapy Association. Before that, she earned a degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Pennsylvania State University in 1996, where she focused on Child and Adolescent Development.
Lorraine is all about therapeutic massage that helps folks heal and stay well. She knows how to do deep tissue, myofascial release, and even works with clients who have Ensoma Spectrum Disorder.
Outside the clinic, Lorraine’s big on giving back. She’s part of the Down Syndrome Association of Northern Virginia and used to serve on their Board of Directors. She also spent years as their Volunteer Coordinator. When she’s not helping others, she loves spending time with her family.

Michael Sharp, LMT, CPT
Michael Sharp brings over a decade of experience as a Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Personal Trainer. He began his journey in massage therapy in 2008 after graduating from the Avi Institute in Great Falls, VA. Michael is also an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer and holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from George Mason University.
Michael specializes in therapeutic, deep tissue, sports massage, prenatal massage, and assisted stretching. His background as a former collegiate athlete and experience as a speed and agility coach allow him to cater to a diverse clientele, including professional, semi-professional, and high school athletes.
Beyond his professional achievements, Michael is a devoted husband and father who enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends. His holistic approach to health and wellness, combined with his extensive expertise and caring nature, make him a valuable asset to our team.

Susan Astorino, CMT
Susan has been a Board Certified Massage Therapist since 2005, earning her certification from AKS Massage School in Herndon, Virginia. She’s also a member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals. Before that, she graduated from Montclair State University with a degree in Fine Arts, focusing on photography and graphic design.
Susan’s approach to massage therapy is all about healing and balance. She uses her intuition and heart to guide her work, aiming to help people feel better in their bodies and minds. As a Reiki Master and Advanced Integrated Energy Therapy (IET) practitioner, she brings a unique energy to her sessions, helping clients release stress and find peace.
When she’s not working, Susan enjoys spending time with her family and exploring her creative side through photography and design.
